It is a really cool thing when you get to marry your best friend. Tessa and Hayley got to do just that! These two beautiful people actually met way back in preschool. They grew up in and out of each other’s lives, but really became much closer in high school and college. Unfortunately, for most of college, and up until this wedding, they haven’t been able to actually be in the same place! Both went on to receive their doctorate degrees in different states and have been living several hours apart since then. Because of all that, they are really excited to be simply living in the state again!

Hayley and Tessa had their wedding at the Brown’s Point Improvement Club, right on the Puget Sound. It was the perfect day to be out close to the water! The building was full of friends and family, all ready to see them be together forever, then to party! The couple had a lot of wonderful touches for the evening, such as a “booze canoe,” complete with signature drinks. They had a beautiful wall full of hand painted glasses that served as a seating guide for everyone. They also handmade a smore’s bar, with every kind of chocolate you could want! A lot of time and effort was put into making even the smallest of details be perfect for the day and it definitely showed.

For the day, both brides wore dresses from BHLDN. Their hair and makeup was done beautifully by Bride and Jen. Dinner was catered by Cafe Rio. Ian Codilla was my second photographer for the evening.
