Daniel and Emily
Some people you know are just amazing at being models for a photography shoot. Daniel and Emily are two of those people! When I was putting together an idea for a session, I knew I wanted it to be very Pacific Northwest-esque. I wanted to see plaid and a beard and boots. I also knew that I had to get up to the snow! I absolutely love the way that Washington looks in the winter in the mountains. It can be breathtaking.
For this shoot, I enlisted the help of Dawn Boynton, of Seattle Bride Hair. She is one of my favorite hair and makeup artists in the south sound! Always attentive to her client and beautifully talented, it was a pleasure to work with her again.
As I said, Emily and Daniel were fantastic models! I learned that they are expecting their first child, so this was definitely a very timely session for them. They recently bought a house in Tacoma and working on renovating it before their family grows! They also have two husky dogs, which are absolutely gorgeous. We were very disappointed that it was not feasible to bring them.
