Stylized Shoots are seriously so much fun.  There is so much room to experiment and play with new ideas in a low pressure environment.  Such was the case with Heather and Jason’s stylized vow renewal.  They were married two years ago in a courthouse wedding, in an effort to save costs.  So this was the perfect opportunity to go all out and get dressed up and enjoy a day together, this time with their daughter- who definitely stole the show!

It was a beautiful day and the venue (GRLS studio) was perfect.  I mean, who doesn’t love white bare brick and giant windows?  They created this space for women to have a space for growth in business and creativity.  The space is used for both photography and events.  Plus, they do their own events!  They are definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a space to rent for either in Tacoma.

To go along with that, we had the talents of amazing people behind the event.  Our fearless leader, Jaclynn, of Sincerely Jaclynn Photography, put together the shoot with learning in mind.  She brought in several vendors that I am so glad I got to meet!  The event was designed by Heidi and Rachel of Lipstick and Lattes Event Design.  This duo is a powerhouse, you guys.  The ideas and prettiness they brought to this renewal was insane.  The little touches they put on, such as the garland on the wall and the rose gold cutlery, were gorgeous.

Our hair and makeup guru was Breanna of Love Your Haiir Co.  I LOVED the details she put so much thought into. Check out that little bit of glitter right at the edge of Heather’s eyes.  Isn’t it just the prettiest?

The dress was found by Heather at Brides for a Cause in Tacoma.  This places is the coolest.  Not only can you get your wedding dress there for a discounted price, you are also helping to support an organization that partners with local communities to help provide financial support.  These often include ones that support women with life-threatening illnesses, women in the military, relief for single mothers, those abused, etc.  They do so much good!  And guess what?  They are not only in Tacoma, but also in Portland and Seattle.

Our goodies were provided by Ma Boulangerie in Federal Way.  They seriously have the best macarons, baked goods, and sweet things.  All of their stuff is incredibly tempting.  And I can personally vouch for how amazing they actually taste!

And last but not least, our officiant was Nellys Victoria.  Her remarks were absolutely the sweetest and she was wonderful to be around.
